Let's talk about shelf life, and how to store a lollipop.

Like other pantry items, store in a cool dry place. excess heat and moisture can cause hard candy to warp and develop a sticky texture.

Keep it in one place. While these candies are meant to last 6 weeks from purchase, they're best kept in a drawer or cabinet. Too much movement can cause granulation, ruining the snack you're carrying around.

While this is good general information, every product is different and the more solid additives (flowers, fruits) tend to have the shortest shelf life.
